HR TOURS: VESPA TOUR

Rome, June 2010

An event for about 200 people was offered last year in June by a Spanish cosmetics company to 194 customers. The location was magnificent Rome, brought further to life, under the summer sun, by this dynamic group on Vespas. The Vespa had been chosen under the "A roman holiday" theme, which was the leitmotif of the event. The vehicle that belonged to Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn in the famous movie led the guests on a truly "vintage" tour, full of sounds, atmosphere, speed and fun, from other times. Re-creating these settings is another of the specialties of HR Tours.

The start was given at 9 am, in Repubblica square, in the presence of six groups of 33 persons each, plus three assistants. All were equipped with a helmet covered with the company logo in various colors. They followed the same steps, but each group traveled along a different route, so as not to create too large a mass of people, drivers and vehicles in the same place simultaneously. At noon the six groups met at Gianicolo hill for the traditional cannon shot and a group photo under the Garibaldi monument. Set up on site was a snack service providing hot coffee, soft drinks, sparkling wine and appetizers, while four musicians (vocalist, accordion, guitar and mandolin) completed the ensemble with their songs. At 1 pm a big lunch was served at Gusto restaurant in Piazza Augusto Imperatore.
